Rio Grande Schedule Update - Baker City Cycling Classic

The Rio Grande Elite Cycling Team has added the Baker City Cycling Classic to its 2024 schedule. This is a stage race in Baker City, Oregon with 4 stages over 3 days at the end of June. This will kick off a summer season of racing for Rio in Oregon, Utah, Colorado, Vermont, and Panama.

Team Director Rees York: “with Joe Martin Stage Race put on hold for 2024, we looked for alternate races that suits our teams’ abilities, and has exciting courses and a great organization helming the race. This race has been around since 2002, and provides exciting opportunities for our riders with a hilly road race to kick things off, a fast trial & criterium Saturday, before a road race with a summit finish at Anthony Lakes on the final stage on Sunday. These courses provide true stage racing for the guys to test their legs agains a strong field in the Pacific NorthWest.”
